Richard and Meera's wedding was nothing short of spectacular, with the vibrant energy of downtown Toronto setting the stage. The couple celebrated not one, but two weddings—the first being a traditional Guyanese ceremony and the second, a beautiful white wedding in the heart of the city. For their white wedding, they chose an intimate setting by booking out an entire restaurant on King St West, one of Toronto's most iconic urban neighborhoods.
As their photographer, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. It’s always been a dream of mine to capture an urban street-style wedding, and King West was the perfect place for it. The bustling streets, modern architecture, and unique city backdrops made for some incredible shots that truly embodied the chic, urban feel Richard and Meera wanted for their special day.
We wandered around the neighborhood, capturing photos against brick walls, hidden alleyways, and of course, the vibrant energy of the city itself. The blend of city life with their wedding elegance created this perfect contrast, making each image feel like a snapshot of their love story, framed by the city they adore.
